Passionate about territorial artistic development, I have been supporting the development of cultural projects for fifteen years.
Artistic director, head of cultural services, development manager, my professional career has been built around different experiences within public authorities, cultural organizations and territorial development organizations, in France then in Quebec.
Since 2013, I have specialized in issues related to places of creation, both concerned by the growing difficulties of maintaining, creating and managing artistic spaces, especially in areas undergoing redevelopment, and stimulated by the new expertise deployed to tackle this problem.
Although we are well aware of the difficulties, the solutions that exist to preserve an artistic presence in the short, medium and long term are generally less identified. However, there are numerous avenues for action: regulations (urban planning tools), innovative business models, sharing of expertise, transfer of knowledge, financial programs, diversification of tenure, pooling, partnerships, etc.
I immersed myself with passion in this sector of activity which combines both issues of spatial justice that concern me (how to preserve art in our living environments?) as well as my cultural expertise, and my interest in development of collaborative and innovative tools. I have thus developed expertise in the tools, strategies and business models that support the sustainability and creation of creative spaces, particularly artist studios.
